An issue on construction of the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline is in the process of discussions between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and it has nothing to do with the third countries, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stated in Baku on 4 May, Trend reports.

Both countries have signed an agreement on sea boarders in the Caspian Sea, while the gas pipeline runs via the sectors of the two countries. I dont think the issue to evolve problems. If the agreement is signed the pipeline will run via our sectors and the issue will concern only Astana and Baku, the Minister underlined.

The same time Mammadyarov said that in difference to the Trans-Caspian pipeline, oil from Kazakhstan will be delivered by tankers.
