SOCAR May Establish Set in Ukraine
During his meeting with the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev within the summit of GUAM in Kiev, the Ukrainian president Viktor Yushinka made a proposal on more active participation of Azerbaijan in the Ukrainian economy, Trend reports with reference to Natig Aliyev, the Azeri Minister of Industry and Energy.
Ukrainian side is going to create an opportunity for the refinery of the crude oil of Azerbaijan in Ukraine and organization of the set of Azerbaijani filling stations for realizing oil products, told Aliyev.
At present, Azerbaijan side looks through these proposals. According to Aliyev, this project can be realized by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). SOCAR possesses private crude oil and oil refinery specialists, and may organize the dissemination and sale of oil products. It is a very profitable project, said Aliyev.
