A meeting was held between Khalik Mammadov, the department chief of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Teri Norman, the representative of Total in Azerbaijan,Trend reports with reference to SOCAR. The meeting focused on the prospects of cooperation in the sphere of training of staffs for SOCAR.
According to the representative of SOCAR, the recruitment of bachelors and holders of master's degree will be carried out by the State Commission for Student Admission. British Council, Total and other organizations will assist in placing the students in training institutions.
Dispatch of students will begin next year. Mammadov expressed his interest in opportunities of French training institutions in this direction. At the same time, the representative of Total stressed that his company was interested in training of staffs for SOCAR. Besides, according to Norman, a company representative involved in training of staffs will arrive in Baku on July 11. He will submit a detailed report on French training institutions.
