Turkish TPAO announced about investments into Azerbaijan in 2005

Turkish TPAO announced that the gross investments within the Azerbaijani oil and gas projects was in amount of $545,04 mln, Trend reports with reference to the statement of TPAO. And the gross investments put by TPAO into the Azerbaijani economy over all period of works amounts to $2,104 billion.

It is stated in the document that TPAO has spent $357,31 mln on the payment of its 6,8% share in the development project of the block of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field and partial payment of 10% share of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), $82,17 mln on Shah-Deniz project, $25,38 mln on the construction of South Caucasus gas pipe, $118,3 thousand on Araz-Alov-Sharg, $17,7 thousand on Kurdashi, $79,35 mln on construction of Baku, Tbilisi-Ceyhan, and $687 thousand on operational expenditure.
