Gobustan Operating Company (GOC), which is involved in the development of South-West Gobustan contract area, has completed the construction of the pipeline for the gas delivery from the fourth well, located on the Duvanniy field.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCRA), a member of the project told Trend GOC expected to receive special equipment for installation in the well. High mouth pressure was revealed in the well, which does allow installing here devices similar to the first three wells.
At present the average daily delivery of vacant gas to the SOCAR is 40,000 cu m. Upon connection of 4 and 5 wells to the system the gas delivery will considerably increase. Perhaps, 400,000 cu m of gas will be delivered a day, the SOCAR said.
Gas price is $1.29/1m BTU ($1.29/1m BTU - around $46/1,000 cu m).
