China takes a great interest in this project. This country is a key source for the creation container cargos in Asia. Chinese side appealed and received the terms of trains work.

Today, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan consider the issue of lengthening the route of container train up to the station Dostik on the border of Kazakhstan and China. The united tariff of 22 cent is applied to the transportation, per tone for one kilometer.

This train works through the route of Poti-Baku-Aktau-Almata. The operator of the train is the companies Black sea transit LTD and Advantage international transport and logistics LTD.

The container train was issued on December 24 of last year. This train should help attract consignors of goods from China and Europe. The cargos are shipped from Poti port in Georgia to Aktau port in Kazakhstan through Baku and in back direction.

According to experts, at the moment, about 3% - 4% of gross freight flow directed to Europe and Asia pass through Russia due to Russias dumping policy of prices. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia are going to attract part of cargos to the transportation through TRACECA corridor.
