Over the past 8-7 months the construction of office building for BP has not been carried out, the President of Р'Р Azerbaijan, David Woodward. Woodward said that by the end of last year Azinvest Property, a part of Azpetrol holding, ceased the construction of a new complex.
In 2004 BР on behalf of partners at the AIOC, shah Deniz project, SCP and BTC signed an agreement with Azinvest Property on the construction and further rent of the new office of building, which the company will build.
Office building should be built in the area of approximately 26,000 sq m in Jalil Mammadguluzade St., Baku. In accordance with the agreement, Azinvest will construct a building and office premises under lighthouse, after which it will be given to BP for 15-year rent. BР will complete the interior construction and make-up and furnishing.
The project of the office building is an ensemble of 4-5 storey buildings with parking for 500 vehicles, as well as different relevant buildings. The construction of corps of buildings is to complete in the third quarter of 2006.
