There are 530,000 consumers with Bakgaz today, from which 500,000 are dwellers, 5,000 are non-governmental and private organizations and 1,400 municipal structures, Trend reports quoting Tahir Aliyev, chief of Bakgaz. Today this organization operates 5,000km of pipelines and services 11 districts.
Aliyev said during first 6 months gas fees collection totaled 37%. In January this amount was 14%, in February 19%, in March 23%, in April 31%, in May 42% and in June 51%.
By the end of 2006 nearly 300k meters will get installed in Baku. Thus, all consumers in the capital will be provided with meters at the cost of Azerigaz JSC by the end of the year.
