At the moment, Bakgaz has 530 thousand subscribers in its balance. 500 thousand out of the gross number are population, 5 th. non-governmental and private organizations and 1400 communal organizations, Tahir Aliyev, the head of Bakgaz, told Trend. Today, this organization has 5 th. km pipes and serves 11 districts.
According to Aliyev, within six months, the collection of finance from the subscribers for the delivered gas was 37%. In January, this indicator was 14%, February 19%, March 23%, April 31%, May 42% and June 51%.
By the end of this year, around 300 thousand gas meters will be installed in Baku. Thus, all subscribers of Baku will be provided with gas meters by the end of year. At present, 260 thousand devices have already been installed. The installation of meters is carried out at the expense of Azerigaz CSC.
