The main directions of the activity of the Azneft Production Association on Oil and Gas Production of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) are environment protection issues, accelerating of drilling works, intensification of transferring of oil wells and boreholes from the inactive fund to the active one. All these issues were discussed during the meeting of the Production Association devoted to the results of the first six months of the year, Trend reports referring to SOCAR.
Among the other priorities of the Association`s activity was to provide its drilling departments with all necessary equipment and improve the system of oil and gas gathering and transportation from the oil and gas fields had developed for a long time.
The first Vice-President of SOCAR on Geology, Geophysics and Fields Development Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh and his Deputy on Oil and Gas Production Rahman Gurbanov took part at the meeting.
