Actions by a criminal group involved in robbing oil from the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline in the territory of Dagestan did not affect on export of the Azerbaijani oil via the pipeline route, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), told Trend.
During special operations they detained a criminal group which was involved in robbing oil from the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, Trend reports citing RIA Novosti.
The robbed oil was refined at the primitive mini-plant in the Manas village of Karabudakhkend District. During the operations they found a cut in the section of a pipeline near the village of Pervomaysk of Kayakentsk District, via which the robbers pumped oil from the highway.
