Georgia Returned nearly 10mln kWh of energy to Azerbaijan
Georgia started repaying its electric energy debt to Azerbaijan and has already returned to date nearly 10mln kWh from the total debt of 17mln kWh, said Marlen Askerov, vice-president, Azerenerji AO.
The debt formed as a result of electric energy supplies in early 1990s to Georgia. Earlier it already returned nearly 15mln kWh from the total debt of 32mln kWh.
At present Georgia is transferring nearly 1mln kWh a day to Azerbaijan.
