The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed a tender on the shipment of Azeri Light oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan, delivered via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline (BTC), the company told Trend. The company Select Energy won the tender.
The oil consignment comprised of 1 million barrels (or 80,000 tons). The shipment is scheduled for 24-26 November 2006.
Oil consignments from Ceyhan were shipped by the following companies
Statoil August (1 million barrels);
Arcadia September (600,000 barrels).
Select Energy November (1 million barrels).
