Philippo Kapurso, the head of ENI office in Astana, told Trend Special Correspondent in Kazakhstan that the amount of investments in the development of the Kashagan field is to comprise $29bn.
"$29bn is to be invested in the Kashagan field, he noted. The company has invested $4.5bn in Karachaganak field, whilst some $9.5bn is still needed.
ENI cooperates with the national company and other companies in the South Caspian project, which envisages the assimilation of a biggest field in the Kazakhstan's section of the Caspian Sea - Kashagan, as well as Karachagan project on gas production.
