Georgia to Repay Electric Power Debt to Azerbaijan
With the present volume of the electric power delivery, Georgia will fully reimburse the energy debts to Azerbaijan within the next ten days, Vice President of Azerenerji', Marlen Askerov informed Trend.
According to the information provided by the State Electricity System Company of Georgia which is managed by the Irish ESBI, Georgia is available to deliver electric power to Azerbaijan and Turkey and is awaiting their response as to their technical readiness to receive the electric power.
Georgia has a debt of 13 mln kVt of electric power owing to Azerbaijan. It is expected that the debts will be paid in the near future.
