Presently, the Ali-Bayramli Heat Power Plant (HPP) is the only facility that reduces the technical and economic indicators of the electric power generation in the country, Etibar Piriverdiyev, President of Azerenerji JSC, said, Trendreports. Today, in order to generate 1 KWatt/hour of electric energy, 440-450 grams of conditional fuels are spent, and that is a very high indicator.
Azerenerji has determined a priority capacity for new plants to be installed in the Ali-Bayramli HPP within its reconstruction. The total generating capacity of the plants will reach 1000 MWatt.
Presently, an issue on the type of the plants to be installed on the Heat Power Plant is under consideration. Specialists of Azerenerji are getting acquainted with different types of equipment. A decision on the type of the equipment to be installed on the Plant will be made only after it is completed.
Presently, the Joint Stock Company is viewing a possibility on installing equipment that will work on mazut and gas in the Ali-Bayramli HPP.
