Georgian has completed paying its debt to Azerbaijan, which was accumulated for electric power Azerbaijan provided Georgian with, Marlen Asgarov, Vice-President of Azerenerji JSC told Trend.
According to him, at present Georgia is continuing to supply back Azerbaijan with electric energy.
After paying the whole debt, Georgia is still continuing to supply Azerbaijan with electric power. However, Azerbaijan will return these volumes of electric power to Georgia, he said.
The Georgian State Electric Power System Company is managed by Ireland's ESBI.
Georgian has an electric debt to Azerbaijan at about 13 mln. KWatt/ hour of electric power.
