The delegation of United Electric System of Russia JSC is expected to visit Baku to hold negotiations with Azerenerji JSC, Trend reports quoting Azerenerji. The meeting will focus on the prices and volume of the electric power delivered to Azerbaijan in 2007.
Earlier, Azerbaijan had reached an agreement with Russia on the delivery of the electric power up to the end of 2006. In 2007, Azerbaijan intends to acquire 700 mln kVt electric power from Russia.
Over the last year, 1 bln 033 kVt electric power has been delivered from Russia to Azerbaijan, for 2,8 cent per 1 kVt.
