Azerbaijani Government is continuing negotiations with the Russian party on the issue of supplying Azerbaijan with electric power and gas in the next year, Yagub Eyubov, First Vice-Premier of Azerbaijan has told journalists today, Trendreports.
The Russian party will provide Azerbaijan with 60 MWatt of electric power in the rush hours. It has not been confirmed yet. I think that this issue will be solved till the end of the year, said Mr. Eyubov.
According to him, a Commission specially established for studying problems of Azerbaijanis living in Russia is regularly holding its meetings. The Commission has already studied problems of our compatriots face in Russia.
Today, the Russian Government has not determined its position toward directions on directing its decision into practice. We shall carry out a certain part of the work as well, he said.
