Over the first 11 months of 2006 1.85mln tons of pipes worth approximately $1,708bln has been exported from Ukraine. It is by 15.7% more as compared to last year.
The Ukrainian State Customs Committee informed Trend that, the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan occupied the second and thirds places for purchase of Ukrainian pipes, pushing out Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
In November 2006 Azerbaijan purchased 9,967 tons of pipes from Ukraine. The share of Ukrainian pipe in the total export made up 5.45%. A list of top-10 countries purchasing Ukrainian pipes in November is as follows:
