Georgian Prime Minister Leaves for Baku

The Georgian delegation led by Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli left for Azerbaijan on 25 December, Trend Special Correspondent in Tbilisi reports.

The delegation will discuss in Baku the delivery of Shah Deniz gas.

Mr. Nagaideli said that in 2007 Azerbaijan will become the major gas supplier to Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the visit we will coordinate all technical details. The talks will define all terms and volume of natural gas which can cover Georgia demand, the Georgian Premier said.

In 2007 Georgia will receive 70% of the natural gas from Azerbaijan. During the visit the Prime Minister is accompanied by Energy Minister Nika Gilauri, Minister for Economy Giorgi Arveladze and the President of the Georgian Oil and Gas Company, Aleko Hetaguri
