SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) informed Trend that in December 2006, the Oil Refinery Plant Named after Heydar Aliyev (former Azerneftyanajag) produced 16,030 tons of butane-butylene which exceeds the expectation by 58.7%, i.e. by 5.930 tons.
In 2006, the volume of the butane-butylene production reached 148,220 tons, 35,120 tons more than was forecasted (31.1%), and on 18,580 tons more against the corresponding period of 2005.
In 2006, no propane-propylene was produced in the Plant. Last year, the volume of the propane-propylene made up 3,020 tons.
