In December 2006, the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery produced 9,870 of oil coke, a decrease of 0,630 tons (-6%) from forecasts, Trend reports quoting State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
In 2006, the production volume of this kind of oil product equaled 67,240 tons, a decrease of 41,360 tons from the forecast. Last year, the Enterprise did not produce oil coke.
The main consumers of oil coke produced in Azerbaijan are the Russian Aluminum plants.
