In 2006, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 3,46 mln tons of oil own oil, against 3,31 mln in 2005, Trend reports with reference to the Marketing and Economical Operations Department of the SOCAR.
In 2006, SOCAR exported 1,17 mln tons of oil via Baku-Novorossisk pipeline, against 1,63 mln in 2005.
The export via Baku-Supsa in 2006 equaled 1,15 mln tons of oil, against 1,26 mln tons in 2005.
The exportation via the railways in direction of the Georgian Port of Batumi equaled 1,13 mln tons, against 414730 tons in 2005.
In 2004, a total of 3,53 mln tons of SOCAR's oil had been transported via Baku-Novorossisk and Baku-Supsa.
