A meeting was held at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) between the participants of SOCAR's scholarship program and Director of the German Organization DAAD's Department on Caucasus, South Caucasus and Central Asia, Benedikt Brishem and DAAD's representative to Azerbaijan, Ulrike Mitter, Trend reports with reference to the SOCAR.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of SOCAR Department of Affairs, Khalig Mammadov, and representatives of SOCAR staff department. The representatives of the German organization were introduced to the scholarship program. According to DAAD representatives, within the program, at the expense of SOCAR, it is intended that students will study at universities of Germany. Germany will present annually approximately 60 scholarships to enable study in bachelor, magistracy and doctorate degrees.
