In 2006, the Oil and Gas Production Union Azerneft of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 4,34 bln cu.m of gas, Trend reports.
The largest volume of the gas production has been achieved by OGPU which develops the shallow part of the field Guneshli вЂ" 2,95 bln cu.m.
The smallest gas production is observed on onshore field Muradckanli. Over the period of January-December 2006, 600,000 cu.m. of gas was produced there.
