In 2006 JV and operating companies working in the onshore fields of Azerbaijan have produced 114,300mln cu m of gas (cmg), Trend reports.
The largest volume of gas production fell at the operating company Salyan Oil which is developing the contractual site Kursang-Garabagli. In 2006 this company produced 43.12mln cmg. The company uses this gas partially for pumping to the later to maintain the pressure.
The least gas production is obtained by the operating company Az.Sheng-Li LLC. This company has produced 145,000 cmg.
With regards to the last year, the largest lag in the gas production is observed in the Surakhani Oil. This company has produced 1.17mln cmg, which is less than the same period of last year by 80%.
Presently, Anshad Petrol and Gobu¬stan Operating Com¬pa¬ny sell their vacant gas to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Gobustan Operating Company has produced 10,890 cmg in 2006.
