The Oil and Gas Production Departments of PA Azneft, engaged in oil and gas production, which are subjected to SOCAR (State Oil Company) produced 7,84 mln. tons of oil in 2006, that is on 0,2% more against the corresponding figures registered in 2005, Trend reports.
The largest volume of oil was produced by Oil and Gas Production Department 26 May, engaged in the development of the shallow section of Gunashli Deposit. In 2006, totally 5,52 mln. tons of oil were produced from this field, that is by 2,4% less versus the corresponding figures registered in 2005. The smallest oil volume was produced from Muradkhanli Deposit. In 2006, just 26 thousand tons of oil were produced from field, that is on 14,5% less versus the corresponding figures registered in 2005.
