The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced on 19 January 2007 the tender for the dispatch of two consignments of its own Azeri Light oil from the Turkish Port of Ceyhan, which is delivered via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, Trend reports quoting SOCAR.
The volume of the consignment to be shipped on 19-21 February totals 600,000 barrels (80,000 tons). The result of the tender will be announced on 24 January.
On 18 January price of AZERI LT FOB Ceyhan was $49.88 per barrel. (down $0.54 pr barrel as compared to previous price).
In 2007 the oil consignments delivered from Ceyhan has been purchased by the companies
