The drilling of the 6th well with Dada Gorgud drilling rig at the order of AIOC has been concluded. The well was drilled under the Deepwater Guneshli pre-drilling program as part of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Full Field Development, Trend reports. .
The depth of the well varies from 3,300m to 4,100 and above. In average one well is drilled per month. The Deepwater Guneshli pre-drilling programme currently consists of eight wells, seven of which are planned as top-set producers and one as a cuttings re-injection well (to be used for platform drilling activity only). In addition to the pre-drilled platform template wells, the DWG drilling campaign also includes six sub-sea water injection wells, which will also be drilled by the Dada Gorgud.
