SOCAR Partially Fulfills Georgia's Order

The Heydar Aliyev Baku Deepwater Jacket Plant of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has completed the construction of 6 nine-meter spans and 9 fifteen-meter spans for bridges at the order of the Government of Georgia. They have been supplied to Georgia, Trend reports.

In December 2006 the Baku Deepwater Jacket Plant received an order from Georgia on production of details for foot, road and railway bridges. The total volume of work to be implemented for Georgia is 200 tons. Three 15 meter spans at a weigh of over 20 tons will be built for road bridges. The construction of a nine-meter span at a weight of 23 tons is complete.

Building spans considered for railway bridges are underway.

The weight of each of them is over 27 tons. Their construction will require 83 tons of metal.
