Fazil Naghiyev, the Head of the Oil and Gas Production Department Gum Adasi of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan said that the Department he heads prepared 6 new wells to the launch in 2006, Trend reports.
According to him, 7,799 tons of oil was produced from the wells. Two wells transferred to the SOCAR well operating fund from the non-operating ones. A total of 164,294 tons were produced by Gum Adasi in 2006. This figure is on 1,174 tons of oil more than it was expected. The volume of gas production by the Department in 2006 reached 314,312 thousand cubic meters.
It is by 18,282 thousand cubic meters more than it was forecasted.
