The oil production from the new platform No. 2387 installed in the field Neft Dashlari will equal 831,3 thous tons. The Head Engineer of the Unit Caspian Sea Oil and Gas Construction of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Mirkazim Abbasov, stated that presently AZN 8857,0 mln have been spent on the construction of this platform, Trend reports. Three bearing units have been installed in the sea. The platform has been installed in the depth of 24,5 meters. The height of the units is 45 meters and weight вЂ" 542 tons. This unit has been constructed on the base of the old dismantled deep-water units Chirag-2 and Chirag-4.
Presently the Institute of Caspian Sea Oil and Gas Construction projects two more such platforms. Till 2010, 6 platforms will be installed and 78 new wells will be drilled in the field Neft Dashlari .
