Azerenergy Completed First Stage of Project on Creating Modern Dispatching Management System

Azerenergy JSC of Azerbaijan has completed the first stage of the project to create a modern dispatching system of SCADA management, Trend reports with reference to the Press Service of JSC.

This stage of the project has been implemented by the German Company of Siemens through financing from KfW Bank in amount of в'¬2.5 mln. The second phase of the project is intended to be realized in 2007 through financial support from the World Bank. The cost of the project is estimated at $55 mln, with $47 mln from the World Bank and $8 mln from the Azerbaijani side. The project envisages supplying the system to all regions of Azerbaijan.

Presently Azerenergy holds the selection of tender proposals on the second phase of the project. Four companies, including Arena, GBB, Siemens and General Electric participate in the tender.
