Japanese Idemitsu Kosan Co purchased 1 mln barrels of the Azerbaijan light oil to refine in the country, Trend reports.
Idemitsu Kosan Co is the second biggest oil refinery of Japan. The Company purchased 1 mln barrels of the oil from the large oil company of Japan - Inpex Holdinds Inc - with the delivery to the Aichi Refinery located in the Central Japan.
The purchased oil have been produced from the fields Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, where Inpex has 10% share. The oil is exported to the Turkish Port of Ceyhan through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, in which Inpex has 2,5% share.
