Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / Presently the daily debit of the second well in "Shah Deniz" field reaches 6 mln cu.m of gas, a Government source said.
"The production in the well has become stabilized practically," the same source said.
Presently the large part of the gas produced from this well is already transferred to the gas-transporting system of Azerbaijan . After this well, BP Azerbaijan (operator of "Shah Deniz") plans to put into exploitation the third and fourth wells. After launching then third well, BP Azerbaijan will return to work in the first well. The first pre-drilling well had been stopped due to the gas leakage.
8,6 bln cu.m of gas will be produced annually within the "Phase- 1" of the development project of "Shah Deniz". 2,8 bln cu.m of gas will be produced from "Shah Deniz" in 2007.
