Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The Operating Company Salyan Oil has concluded drilling the second exploitation well in the Kursangi-Garabagli onshore field, which was launched in 2006.
The Company reported that it faced many technical difficulties during its activities and had to replace the drilling point. The daily discharge of the well is 45 tons of oil.
The Company is continuing to drill one more well on the contract area. The drilling of the well with a project depth of 3,500 meters will be complete in mid-March 2007. At present almost two-thirds of its depth has been drilled.
Salyan Oil operating company confirmed its 2007 budget for implementation of work at Kursangi-Garabaghly at a cost of $43 mln. In general, this year it is planned to drill 5 exploitation wells with the project depth at 3,500 meters.
