Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The President of Azerenergy OSC, Etibar Pirverdiyev, stated on 2 March that the new system of individual metering of the electricity supply in Baku is a positive step.
According to him, there are more subscribers in the Baku distributing network, managed by Baku Electricity Network OSC, than in the regions. The new system, which will be managed through the assistance of the GSM system, is technically the most contemporary. "It will protect the interests of the subscribers because of its exact calculations. In addition, it will improve the commercial account of electricity supplied by the distributing networks," he said.
