Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev, S.Babayeva/ The Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan, Natig Aliyev, said on 2 March that yet Turkey is not ready to receive the Azerbaijani gas from "Shah Deniz" field.
"I consider that yet the Turkish side can not receive the gas" the Minister said. Presently such a situation has emerged that yet Azerbaijan will receive all volumes of the gas produced from the field "Shah Deniz". According to the Minister, it is very beneficial.
To deliver the gas to Turkey, the sales company (operator Statoil) for the South Caucasus Pipeline should notify the Turkish side of beginning of the gas supply.
At the same time, the Turkish Company Botas should notify of its readiness to receive the gas, the4 Minister said.
