SOCAR Increases Export of Oil Products in Feb

Азербайджан, Баку /корр. Trend С.Алиев/ In January to February 2007 the Marketing and Economic Operations Department (MEPD) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has exported 293,967 tons of oil products. In February, a total of 152,836 tons of oil products were exported from oil refinery plants of Azerbaijan against 141,131 tons in January.

The most part of the export fell on diesel oil, which made up 102,783 tons. Export of petrol made up 13,593 tons, jet kerosene - 31,783 tons, lubricating oil - 1,667 and bitumen - 3,000 tons.

The most expensive oil product in February was jet kerosene, which cost $567.56 per ton (it was $541.88 per ton in January). The price of petrol in February was $535.8 ($482.08), diesel fuel - $514.38 ($482,72), and mazut - $252.91 ($229,28). .
