KfW to Allocate €30 mln Credit Construction of 195 km long Electricity Transmission Lines of "Azerbaijan Thermal Power Station - Imishli"

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / This year the German Bank KfW will allocate €30 mln credit for a period of 12 years for the construction of 195 km long electricity transmission lines "Azerbaijan Thermal Power Station - Imishli", Azerenergy JSC informed. In addition, the Bank plans to participate in the construction of electricity transmission lines connecting Mingachevir and Alibayramli Thermal Power Stations with Baku.

In addition, it is planned to construct new substation in Goranboy and reconstruct existing one in Imishli. Moreover, the opportunities are studied to allocate credits for the construction of small hydroelectric power stations and wind stations within the project of renewable energy sources.
