Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S. Aliyev / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) carries out re-estimation of the depoists on the Sangachal-deniz - Duvani-deniz - Khara-Zira oil fields.
Re-estimation work is held by the laboratories "Oil and Gas Sources Re-estimation" and "Geophisics of Oil and Gas Fields" at the State Scientific-Research Institute "Sea Oil and Gas Projecting"
More definition of the layers and countours of Blocks 3, 6, and 6(a) is being carried out.
In 2006 the laboratories hold re-estimation work on Gum-Deniz and Oil Rocks fields. Modern geophysical methods of work defined that the reserves of oil and gas exceed the previous estimations.
Re-estimation work is held by SOCAR once in 5 years. Since1980 the work has been held by the laboratories of "Sea Oil and Gas Projecting"
