Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S.Aliyev / Despite big debts, Sumgayit Electricity Network has not creased electricity supply to the chemical enterprises of the state chemistry company Azerikimya.
The enterprise of the company ceased their activities because of no-profitability after the increase of prices of energy resources and oil products. Azerikimya states on absence of electricity supply due to big debts.
Prices were increased at the resolution of the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan, dated 8 January 2007. At the present time the Government is investigating opportunities to resolve the problem. The Government explains the cessation of operations with absence of necessary finances at the State Company.
