Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. S. Aliyev/ Bruce Lubersky, the Vice-President of BP Azerbaijan for the Azeri Project, has said that BP is expected to ship a jacket for a drilling rig containing engineering and technical procurement systems and housing blocks.
The upper construction is expected to be set up on the jacket by May, 2007. The Company then intends to ship a jacket for production and to boost the gas and injection of water with engineering and technical systems. The top side of the construction is expected to be installed in September 2007.
Production on the deep water section of Gunashli Deposit, to be implemented within the project on the full-scale development of bloc of fields "Azeri-Gunashli-Chiragh" (ACG), is expected to be launched by the middle of 2008.
