Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend / In April the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) remitted AZN 69,621,000 to the public budget, which is AZN 9,475,000 more than last year.
In April remittances to the State Fund for Social Protection of Population made up AZN 5,906,000, an increase of AZN 1,575 from last year.
In 2006, SOCAR transferred AZN 734,701 to the public budget. This is an increase of AZN 189,697 from the same period of last year. In 2006 AZN 51,861 was transferred to the State Fund for Social Protection of Population, an increase of AZN 21,587 from last year.
