Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. S. Aliyev/ From January to April 2007 the volume of production of gas condensate from the Azerbaijani offshore gas condensate field of Shah-Daniz reached 95,654 tons, a source at ВР Azerbaijan (the technical operator of the "Shah-Daniz" Project) stated.

In total 41,956 tons of gas condensate were produced from the only operating well in the field.

At producing 5.1 mln cubic meters of gas per day, the quantity of condensate produced from Shah-Daniz is equal to 1,500 tons a day.

The whole volume of condensate is exported via the main export route of BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline). The daily production rate of the well in gas condensate deposit reaches 5.1 mln cubic meters.

Notably, 8,6 bln cubic meters of gas is expected to be produced on the stage of plateau within stage one of the development of the Shah Daniz Field, with 2.8bln cubic meters in 2007.
