Re-organization of Oil Refining in Azerbaijan, Affects The Quality of Chemical Production

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has supplied Azerkimya state chemistry company with 98,000 tons of crude naphtha since the beginning of 2007, SOCAR vice president on refining, Davud Mammadov , reported on 5 June.

According to Mammadov , the chemical enterprises are supplied with crude naphtha of a rather high quality, compared to previous years.

"Quality of chemical production has increased. Azerkimya only benefits from a slight re-organization of oil refining," he stated.

In accordance with the plan, the chemical enterprises are to be supplied with 270,000 tons of naphtha. However, the vice president considers the supply to make up to 260,000 tons within this year.
