Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January-May the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 3.05 mln tons of own oil, a source from SOCAR stated.
In January-May SOCAR exported 326,390 tons of oil via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. In January-May oil was not exported via Baku-Supsa pipeline due to repairs on the pipeline.
Some 160,590 tons of oil was exported via the railway to the Georgian port of Batumi.
In January-May SOCAR exported 2.56 mln tons of oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
In 2006 SOCAR transported 1.17 mln tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, 1.15 mln tons via Baku-Supsa, 1.13 mln tons via railway to Batumi, 1.4 mln tons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (export via this pipeline commenced in May 2006).
