Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan confirmed the Department for Regulation on State Gas Control of the Azerbaijan Republic, a government source stated.
The Ministry of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan is in charge of defining the estimate of the Department of the State gas control and submitting it to the Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The Department will control effective use and reliable development of the oil and gas sectors, production of energy products, gas supply, sale, projection and reconstruction of industrial and consumer installations, equipment, pipelines, and other facilities.
This Department will function under the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan.
