Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Aliyev / Presently BP Azerbaijan Company transfers nearly seven cu.m of associated gas to Azerbaijan. The gas is produced within the development project of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields, a Government source stated on 5 July. The associated gas will be supplied to Azerbaijan by the end of this year.
Since the beginning of the year the associated gas produced from the platforms of Central Azeri, Western Azeri and Eastern Azeri has been transported to Sangachal terminal via 28-inch pipeline and further to the internal market via national gas network of Azerigaz JSC. As previous, part of associated gas produced with Chirag Platform is directed to the compressor station of the SOCAR in Neft Dashlari ('Oil Stones') via 16-inch pipeline.
The remaining part of the associated gas produced with ACG platform is transported to the compressor and water-discharge platform for pumping it into underground layers for supporting the pressure.
